Appco Group powering ahead in the Asian market

Appco Group Asia is going great; things are catching fire with Appco Group Malaysia as the home and Appco Group Singapore as the second hub...

Within the Appco's Asia domain, Appco Group Thailand recently made news by driving sales for one of Thailand’s biggest premium car importers.

Appco Group Thailand assisted in the promotion and sales of cars at a motor expo by BRG Ramkamhaeng Group at Impact Muang Thong Thani in Bangkok - the first time
Appco Group was asked to engage in this sort of work.

The pioneering team of six field representatives managed to sell eight cars during the expo, which included the latest Mercedes Benz SLK, Nissan Cube, Land Rover, Porsche Panamera and Bentley Continental – an impressive number considering the team only had one day of product and sales training for the expo.

Response from the BRG Ramkamhaeng Group has been positive and the group is keen on working with Appco Thailand in the future on other projects.

Appco Group Fundraisers taken on sunshine trip

Appco Group Singapore has always been giving its fundraisers ample opportunities to undertake trips that help them assess their individual work and the company's work in general. In fact this is done by the company all over the world, at all times. Quite recently ten Spanish Fundraisers got the chance to undertake such a trip and see for themselves how their efforts in the field everyday could change lives.

Appco Group Support EspaƱa held a competition open to all Spanish Field Representatives within the Charities Division. The top ten performers were then offered the chance to be flown to the Canary Islands to see a children’s charity at work. There they were taken to a special village where about 40 children live. This village provides ample care and also enables children to grow up in a warm, family atmosphere. The fundraisers were thrilled on seeing the fantastic work done by the social workers and the charity 'mothers' in the village. One of them commented, “When we go out and secure long-term donors for charities we are enabling them to carry out these kinds of vital projects. It has made me feel really proud that I am helping to make a difference”, and added, “...it enabled us to see how important the work we do is”

The Appco Group FRs also had the opportunity to take part in a thrilling go-karting competition.

Appco Group Fundraisers raise public support for Earth Hour

Appco Group Singapore is known to support causes that serve for the general good of the society, with all sincerity.

Recently, when the whole world observed Earth Hour, Appco Group Fundraisers did all they could do to support it. They raised public support for the event, which urges global leaders to tackle climate change. As we know, hundreds of millions of people turned off their lights for one hour at 8.30pm on Saturday, March 26th, to support the Earth Hour. The event was aimed at making a serious point to global leaders that the world wants urgent action to tackle climate change. Earth Hour first started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off for one hour to take a stand against climate change.

Appco Group
works to procure financial support for such noble causes, and its network of Fundraisers have been raising awareness of Earth Hour and encouraging the public to take part.

Appco Group Singapore personnel happy for their New Zealand counterparts

Appco Group Singapore personnel are happy for their New Zealand counterparts, who had a narrow miss during the recent earthquake that struck New Zealand. Chris Kiely and his team of nine, working for a marketing company associated to Appco Group New Zealand had a narrow miss when the earthquake of 6.3 magnitude struck Christchurch on February 22. Chris, who is the Managing Director of the associate company, was conducting a Training Day in his office at that time. He managed to exit safely, along with his team. They watched helplessly as the adjacent building collapsed.

Appco Group New Zealand had put a hold on all client work from February 23-28 so that Marketing Companies and their teams could overcome the event and show compassion to fellow New Zealanders.

“We had given full support to the Christchurch team as they tried to overcome this experience.”, said Appco Group VP Stewart Hartley.
